Podcasts are generally 20 minute plus length downloadable mp3 files that play like mini radio shows on your favorite mp3 player or computer. They are generally hosted by a radio personality and are a great way to be exposed to new music, news, video and much much more. When you subscribe to a podcast using a podcast feeder you automatically download new content from your favorite podcaster as soon as it becomes available. Podcasts are so easy to create and distribute they are growing even more rapidly than internet radio stations.

There has been a massive growth in awareness of consumer Podcasting, growing from 22% in 2006 to 37% in 2007. The audience is clearly full of high earning, affluent early adopters, 35% of which own HDTV, 62% read blogs regularly and 26% have a myspace accounts for example.
